BEWARE THE MOON REVIEWS
Oooooh, I liked this, and so did dad! "Air hostesses Laura and Suzy welcome their passengers aboard flight 7500 from LA to Tokyo. Things take a turn for the worse when a supernatural force begins killing the people on board one by one." I just asked him and he said "Yeah, it was alright", quoted from the horses mouth. Alright means he liked it as he just said to me he hasn't seen a lot of good films recently - he's not grumpy though, just fussy with films.
Anyhoo, Flight 7500 really reminded me of one of the early episodes back in the first series of Supernatural, the Phantom Traveller, where a demon gets on board, and Dean Winchester hums Metalica to calm himself... Flight 7500 reminds me of the demon part, not the Metalica part - it is still good though...
I think this film covers a lot of what a good and entertaining film should have. Good characters, and an all round selection of them too. A good storyline, and one that takes you down a different path from which you were expecting from the start. It really did, I was expecting something pretty different if I am honest, it started going one way, and then by the end, I was kind of confused by the whole thing.
The ending was very out of nowhere and I was pretty damn confused by it. I actually still am I think too, a week or so later, and that is after Googling it a fair bit... I really did like it up until the ending, and I am not going to dislike the film just because I might be being a little thick.
Up until the ending, I was very much into this movie, it had some little creepy moments and was just an enjoyable easy film to watch.
I obviously won't mention the twist, the one I understood anyway, but what I will say, is it is a good one. I did not see it coming and I don't think dad did either. I wasn't looking for it, but the main thing is, it shocked me and I loved it.
Overall, I liked Flight 7500, its an easy and simple film to watch, until the ending that I did not get. Maybe I just didn't get it properly, who knows, but I still really enjoyed it!
Watching horror films since like 2003, when I could stand dead bodies..
