BEWARE THE MOON REVIEWS

Found Footage 3D

I've been busyyyyyyy, don't hate me as I haven't posted in about a week or so!  Even though I haven't posted, I haven't been lacking watching horror films - I can't really go a week without watching one...  I watched three this week, THREE, and I popped into town and popped into my favourite shop to get my horrors from, CEX of course, and of course, bought THREE more.  Can't be getting ahead of myself though, gotta do the three I have watched first...
First of the three, Found Footage 3D, "A group of filmmakers set out to make the first 3D found footage horror movie, but find themselves in a found footage horror movie when the evil entity from their film escapes into their behind-the-scenes footage."

Before you say it, this film is not in 3D, we did not get to put on the cute little glasses and look like willies...  They go to film it in 3D, that's it.  This film sounded better than it was, I am fussy with found footage as there are so many around at the moment, and I really hate the Blair Witch Project...  I liked the sound of this one though, it was just what I fancied and I got a few friends round to watch it after England won one of their games - spirits were high.  Sadly, it was not that good.  One friend even asked if we could change to another film, cheeky bugger.  We decided we were too far in to change it and had to carry on until the end - again, spirits were high due to the heroes of the England football team; nothing could really bring us down.  Not even a slow film.

It just was not that great a film overall, none of the characters you really connected with, it was fairly slow and just didn't really have anything different going for it.  It was better than Blair Witch though, I would much rather watch this again...
I did like the end though, it kind of upped the gore and the speed of the film - very very predictable, but fun.  Much more fun than the rest of the film.  Like when you go to work and you don't mind who you work with so you're not fully dead and bored, but less fun than being at home and doing what you want, like cooking or if you're me, gymming or horror movies.  The beginning of the film is work fun and the rest is you doing mostly what you want fun.

The day I watched this, England were through to the World Cup Semi Final so I was insanely happy, I feel this review may have been a little blinded by my happiness...
This film is okay, we all watched it, and weren't bored to death and it wasn't the worst film I have ever seen.  The ending picked up a little and I did enjoy the ending but it was very predictable most of the time.  Not awful, but not one I would watch in a hurry again.
