BEWARE THE MOON REVIEWS
![]() Don't worry, I had never heard of it either, but, don't let that stop you watching a film. If I had I wouldn't have stumbled upon this little bizarre gem... "A man and his sister endure a night of increasingly frightening practical jokes during a stay at a secluded motel." I'm Just F*cking With You, (and I am spelling it that way as it is spelt that way all over the internet.), is one of those films that you start, and it goes the way that you have no idea what is going on. It opens with a lot of loud music, and bright colours, kind of like a less scary tunnel out of Willy Wonka, and just heads into this story about a guy who seems to get pleasure over trolling people online. Like he really loves it. One of those people who would never say anything to your face in person, but under a different name online, basically, he's a contestant off Jeremy Kyle. Typing abuse to anyone who he can. He's not the most likeable character, is poor Larry, let's say that. ![]() Chester though, now he is a character, again, not much of a likeable one. Really, he's probably just as unlikeable as Larry. Chester comes across to start with as harmless, but so annoying. He basically made a lot of jokes, each getting more and more intense as the films goes on, but each of them ending with Chester saying the title of the film. See, that gets old quickly. But his pranks and jokes get worse and worse, and honestly, it's intense but in a very weird way. You have no idea where this film is going, all you know is Chester is a little bit cray cray and you have no idea what he is going to do next - I liked it! This was a bizarre little film, that you had no idea where it was heading, kind of driving without a Sat Nav... One things I had a little bit of a problem with though, parts of the story seemed to be mentioned, like friends arriving at the motel, and the big car crash, but then never again. You never really learnt why they didn't get there, or if they were in the crash - I think. As far as I know, it was never really cleared up. Overall, I was into this. I had never heard of it before, but it spoke to me and I am glad it did. Stick with it, it's weird, but stick, it is a good one. I also really liked where the ending went - it goooot dark!
Oh, and it's a pretty movie, so much neon and so many umbrellas in glasses!
