BEWARE THE MOON REVIEWS
![]() Well, I kind of had high hopes for this, kind of. I say kind of because it had a fairly good cast, the main cast were all fairly well known and it had James Marsden in it - I love him... But the fact I had never heard of this film, being with the cast as well, worried me - and I was right to be worried. 'Two estranged brothers reunite at their childhood home in the Alaskan wild. They set out on a two-day hike and are stalked by an unrelenting grizzly bear.' It is not a very good film...at all. ![]() With this film I did something I never do....I actually stopped it before the end and deleted it. I was that bored and that lost with it, and that unlikely to finish it I stopped it and got rid of it. Shocking, I know. I just couldn't get into it, like I tried, I really started watching it, but soon I found myself looking on my phone or on my laptop, or knitting. I don't knit, FYI, but if I did, I would have during this film... It's just boring, and you don't really connect with the characters, none of them really stand out - I feel bad again, because I do really like James Marsden... ![]() I feel bad because I like James Marsden, and I like Thomas Jane in The Mist and I hate not finishing horror films, but I just couldn't finish this one. I hovered the remote selector over the film numerous times to restart watching it again, but nope, could not bring myself to do it... I should have seen the signs before starting this film to be fair, the bear in the movie, Bart, gets top billing on IMDB andddddddd, the lady introducing the movie, only really mentioned how Bart got top billing... This was a massive sign of a bad film, and one I even mentioned to my dad but didn't take myself. Silly me. Yeah, don't do this film... Watch The Mist or X Men instead... Or even Hairspray, because the new one is a damn good film. And I love films about animals too...
