BEWARE THE MOON REVIEWS
![]() So, as I have said before, I will literally watch any horror film, any - and I have before. Like I have watched some awful ones before, and not 'so awful they are great' ones - like 'it's hard to finish this film because it's so bad' one. Ouija was on TV and I thought "why not", even though I had heard that it was pretty damn bad. 'A group of friends must confront their most terrifying fears when they awaken the dark powers of an ancient spirit board.' ![]() Yeahhhh, so the numerous amounts of people saying that it was bad and not to watch it but watch the newest one, were 100% correct, this is not a good film. At all. Ouija is pretty damn bad, it's slow, you don't really care about the characters, they also bring most of what happens on themselves and when things get going - it's still slow. I feel I need to clear something up too, when I said "They also bring most of what happens on themselves", I mean, they use a frickin' Ouija board! Like, don't do that! Have you never heard of the stories that come out of one of those things?! You try and talk to your sweet old and dead family member, but nope, they ain't there, instead evil dead Billy from years back who happened to murder loads is let free, and they is nothing you can do about it. Well done! You've released an evil spirit, shame no one warned you about that...oh wait, THEY DID. ALL OVER THE INTERNET. Spoiler. And surprise, surprise, that is just what happens, their newly dead nice best friend doesn't come through once - it's an evil spirit. SURPRISE. ![]() Ouija is probably slower than a tortoise going backwards, the film is filled with dark scenes, (dark as in at night..), lots of worrying looks and going to investigate at night..because that's always a smart thing to do. Annoyingly, I don't feel I have that much to say about this film, it's slow, filled with not so great characters, and when the ghosts and spirits come along, they really are not that scary or creepy. It should be a massive scene that is tension filled, scary and just ties it all up. It ties it up, like everything goes back to normal, as much as it can after your friends nearly all die from an evil spirit..., but that's all it does. By the time it gets to the end, you aren't really bothered and are kind of just watching to say you've seen it and because you're so far through it, not because you're interested. Gosh, I am mean today... It had a cool effect with the mouths being sewn up and what the people looked like when they were taking over - that's pretty much the nice parts... I am going to tie this all up now, Ouija is not a good film, I have heard the newer one is a lot better, so maybe just stick to that one if you really want to see one of these... And NEVER, EVER, use a Ouija board. Only good thing about this film, it's a good lesson...
