BEWARE THE MOON REVIEWS
Oh, Peelers, what ever can I say about you... You started off pretty well, well as in different compared to most other stripper zombies films, but alas, it was not meant to be. "A small-town strip club owner defends her bar and her girls when they're beset by the undead."
I really do like zombie films, even bad ones, even corny ones, I'll watch them all, and Peelers goes down the route of a corny bad one. It starts off well, I was into it right at the start - why so much, I have no idea. I just was enjoying it from the start, straight away it didn't take itself too serious, and it knew it wasn't going to be a masterpiece.
And it definitely was not a masterpiece, but that is no bad thing at all! Peelers is a very fun film to watch.
I have to say, I was really into it at the start, and even though I really liked the gore and the actual effects, I lost the story half way through it, and just could not get it back. I wouldn't say I got bored, as I don't really think I do get bored, but I just couldn't keep interested in it. I found myself checking my phone and only really paying attention when it got gory or there was some type of action. I didn't hate it, but I preferred the gore to anything else.
Overall, Peelers is a fun film, and has some great over the top gore, but I just, for whatever reason, could not get into it - I didn't it, but Shaun of the Dead is still my favourite zombie film, just saying...
Watching horror films since like 2003, when I could stand dead bodies..
