BEWARE THE MOON REVIEWS
I was into this from the start, even before I had started watching it, I was into it. From the start even before I had started watching it I was into the storyline. "Majestic mountains, a still lake and venomous betrayals engulf a female married couple attempting to celebrate their one-year anniversary."
What Keeps You Alive is a sneaky little film, and it's also sneaky as I don't really know what to say about it without giving any spoilers away... This could genuinely be the shortest review I have ever done.
It is a sneaky film due to one scene that is literally a punch in the face, but so hard that your jaw falls to the floor. See what I did there, jaw dropping to the floor and so... I watched this doing cardio and during this scene, I threw my arms off the machine and think I nearly hit the floor and almost died, but it was so worth it. I needed this scene, this film needed this scene. Before this scene, it was just a thriller in a cabin by the lake, nothing special, this scene started it up, it changed the whole mood. I loved it so damn much! Cardio went so damn quickly as I was so into this film after that.
I liked pretty much everything about this film, the characters are great, and actually aren't too thick for once, it's pretty bloody and the best thing, it's pro LGBT - and we need more of that in the world. Anything that is pro LGBT, I am in!
I am going to stop this review here as I don't want to give anything away, and the big twist comes right near the beginning. All I am going to say is see this film - I loved it and I hope you will too!
More like a TED talk than a review this one, it's so damn short.
Watching horror films since like 2003, when I could stand dead bodies..
